Buy Nothing or Buy Something
We are setting up a “Buy Nothing” Marketplace where families can either (1) exchange items for no cost; or (2) have your kids sell items for less than $1. The objective: (1) Get rid of your unwanted stuff! We have partnered with local charitable organizations to pick up all items at the end of the night and distribute to appropriate charities (i.e., you don’t have to bring anything back home); and (2) Kids can learn how to run their “store” by managing the sales. We are also partnering with the Brookline Food Pantry to collect non-perishable food items for families in need. They are also accepting cash donations here.

Teacher and Staff Cookie Exchange
Students and families are invited to bake or purchase goodies that represent the ways in which you celebrate holidays and special occasions throughout the year. Teachers and staff will be invited to enjoy the cookies and bring some home. Notes and messages of appreciation are also encouraged and will be displayed. Thank you for helping us to spread some cheer at FRR!

Pre-K - 5th Grade Winter Wonderland Dance
Join us for a night of family fun at FRR! Get dressed up with your friends to dance, eat, take pictures and have tons of fun. A caretaker must be present. Fanciest attire encouraged! $10 per family; No siblings please. RSVP & pay by December 15, 2025.
What to expect? DJ, games, finger foods, AI Photo Booth and a red carpet!

Annual Appeal
In October, we raise all of the funds we use throughout the year to fund field trips, teacher supplies, guest speakers, and many other enrichment opportunities.

Coffee & Conversation
All parents, caregivers, and sibilings are invited to the PTO-sponsored Coffee & Conversation meetings, usually held the first Friday of the month.
Stop by the FRR student cafeteria for some coffee, breakfast, and to listen to a school-related guest speaker.

Whether it’s for a few hours, as a class parent, or to help run an event…all help is appreciated!
CORI Forms
Please be advised that state law requires all school volunteers who will have direct and unmonitored contact with children to submit a CORI form.
If you plan on participating in field trips, classroom, and school volunteer activities at FRR, you must complete a CORI form and submit it with valid identification to the school two weeks before the planned volunteer activity.
CORI forms are valid for 3 years only. Please submit your completed form in person with Kyra Reardon in the front office. You can find the form here.
